Training & Education


FHC Maldives provide advice, training and on-site coaching to increase understanding and awareness of safe practices within the workplace. We specialise in adapting course content to make training relevant and specific to each individual operation and job role.

The level of training should be appropriate for their work duties and applied to everyone no matter if they are casual, temporary, part time or contract. 

On site coaching focuses on daily working practices to identify training needs and assist with the implementation of classroom-based learning. As all training is conducted in English our modules are short and incorporate pictures and videos to assist with overcoming potential language barriers

Core courses and services offered are outlined below and can be combined to make a structured learning program suitable for each function and job role. 

  • Hygiene & Food Safety Awareness
  • Practical Application of Good Food Hygiene 
  • Hygiene and Infection Control
  • Managing Food Safety in the Workplace
  • Allergen Awareness
  • Food Safety for Food Handlers (Level 2) – Full Day
  • HACCP for Food businesses (Level 2) – Full Day
  • Supervising Food Safety in Catering (Level 3) – 3 Full Days
  • Individual job specific modules

This is not a definitive list as part of FHC Maldives uniqueness is the ability to design training criteria and courses to suit the needs of the individual business or operation

Training services:

  • Audits to highlight areas of non-compliance and training needs via observations of working practices and targeted questioning. Solutions proposed for the knowledge gaps identified
  • Post Training coaching to assist with workplace skills implementation
  • Assess effectiveness of training in the workplace and evaluate service culture and standards compliance
  • Fixed monthly retainer inclusive of: Audits / Coaching / Targeted Training

 

 

Certificates

  • All courses are certified to provide proof of learning
  • Our certificates do not expire, however regular updates and refresher trainings should be undertaken to ensure the knowledge stays fresh and relevant.
  • Courses can also be assessed with an exam comprising of multiple choice and written questions. Participants should have a reasonable command of written English.

As a registered training centre for Highfield we provide access to Highfield online courses for:

Allergens, Food Safety, Health & Safety, Manual Handling, Warehousing & Storage, Customer Service, Communication, Infection Control & Covid Prevention.
